NBE : More than 12 million withdrawals for customers through ATMs with in 2 weeks

The National Bank of Egypt had more than 12 million withdrawals for its customers, EGP29 bn, through ATMs over two weeks, starting from April 13, 2023.

The bank was keen to feed all ATMs spread throughout Egypt to meet the needs of citizens for cash 24 hours a day during the holidays of Easter, Sham Ennessim and Eid al-Fitr to ensure the implementation of withdrawals and deposits for customers and citizens. 6,600 machines spread all over the country.

This comes through coordination during  Eid holiday between all the bank's employees to feed ATMs, as well as money transfer companies, especially in the machines located in streets and commercial centers, to ensure speed and effectiveness.

As ATMs are fed to their maximum capacity and sometimes more than once a day, especially in crowded areas and increased uses, with immediate monitoring of the quality and maintenance of the machines to ensure their safety.

More than 435,000 transactions done through Al-Ahly Net service, to more than EGP31 bn, in addition to more than one million transactions through Al-Ahly Phone Cash wallet, reaching approximately EGP 1 bn , during the same period.
