ADCB Egypt , E Bank and aiBANK, are fastest growing banks in terms of credit cards

First Bank list of the fastest growing banks in credit cards during the past year revealed that Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank topped the list with a growth rate of 123.67%, after its total credit card portfolio recorded EGP132.8 mn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 59.4 mn at the end of December 2021.

Export Development Bank of Egypt occupied the second place with a growth rate of 71.37% over the past year, after its total credit card portfolio recorded EGP 65.3 mn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP38.1 mn at the end of December 2021.

Arab Investment Bank ranked third after its total credit card portfolio grew by 68.74% over the past year, to record EGP 38.3mn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 22.7mn at the end of December 2021, followed by Banque du Caire with a growth rate of 47.84% during the same period.

saib occupied the fifth place with a growth rate of 46.91% over the past year, to record its total credit card portfolio EGP 306.9 mn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP208.9 mn at the end of December 2021.

As for sixth place, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt came with a growth rate of 41.24% over the past year, bringing its total credit card portfolio to EGP 321.4mn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 227.5mn at the end of December 2021.
