EBank, saibBank And HD Bank, Are Fastest Growing Listed Banks In Credit Cards At 2022
EBank topped First bank list of fastest growing listed banks in credit cards with a growth rate of 71.37%, after its total credit cards portfolio increased to EGP65.3 mn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 38.1 mn at the end of December 2021.
saibBank took second place with a growth rate of 46.91% over the past year, total credit cards increased from EGP208.9 mn at the end of December 2021, and recorded about EGP306.9 mn at the end of December 2022.
As for third place, Housing and Development Bank came with a growth rate of 40.11% over the past year, after the bank’s total credit cards portfolio increased to EGP95.8 mn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 68.4 mn at the end of December 2021.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt came in fourth place, with a growth rate of 33.59% over the past year, after the bank’s total credit cards portfolio increased from EGP 5.7 bn at the end of December 2021, to reach EGP 7.6 bn at the end of December 2022.
Qatar National Bank Al Ahli came fifth with a growth rate of 25.42% over the past year, after its total credit cards portfolio increased to EGP 1.6 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP1.3 bn at the end of December 2021.
