ADIB Egypt, EBank And Credit Agricole, Are Fastest Growing Listed Banks In Mortgage Finance At 2022
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt topped First bank list, its Mortgage finance jumped at a rate of 569.4%, total portfolio to EGP245.4 mn by the end of December 2022. compared to EGP 36.7 mn by the end of 2021.
E Bank took second place, with a growth rate of 159.41% over the past year, after the bank’s total mortgage portfolio increased to EGP425.8 mn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 164.1 mn at the end of December 2021.
Credit Agricole Bank ranked third, with a growth rate of 108.1% over the past year, after its total Mortgage finance portfolio increased from EGP 233.6mn at the end of December 2021, to reach EGP 486mn at the end of December 2022.
Qatar National Bank Al Ahli came in fourth place, with a growth rate of 67.65% over the past year, after the bank’s total Mortgage finance portfolio recorded EGP 4.771 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 2.846 bn at the end of December 2021.
saibBank ranked fifth, with a growth rate of 63.66% over the past year, after its total Mortgage finance portfolio increased to EGP1.548 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP946 mn at the end of December 2021.
