According To First Bank List Of Fastest-Growing Listed Banks In Syndicated Loans During The First Half Of 2023, saib Topped The List. Its Syndicated Loans Achieved A Growth Rate Of 17.25%, Recording EGP 13.709 Bn by June 2023 End, Compared To EGP 11.692 Bn At The End Of December 2022.
The List, Which Included 10 Banks Listed On The Egyptian Stock Exchange (Excluding Faisal Islamic Bank), Revealed That 8 Banks Analyzed Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Syndicated Loan Portfolios During The period form January to June 2023.
Suez Canal Bank Secured The Second Place, Achieving A Growth Rate Of 13.71% During The First Half Of The Current Year. Its Syndicated Loan Portfolio Reached EGP 10.924 Bn By The End Of June 2023, Compared To EGP 9.607 Bn At The End Of December 2022.
EBank Ranked Third, With Its Syndicated Loan Portfolio Increasing By 12.91% During The First Half Of The Current Year. It Reached EGP 7.610 Bn By The End Of June 2023, While It Recorded EGP 6.740 Bn At The End Of December 2022.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-Egypt Ranked Fourth With A Growth Rate Of 11.01% During The First half Of The Current Year. Its Portfolio Of Syndicated Finance Reached EGP 395.7 mn By June 2023End, Compared To EGP 356.5 Bn At The End Of December 2022.
Commercial International Bank- Egypt Came In Fifth Place, With Its Syndicated Loan Portfolio Jumping By 9.40% During The First Half Of The Current Year. It Moved From EGP 44.723 Bn At The End Of December 2022 To EGP 48.929 Bn By June 2023End.
