CBE issues new t-bills worth €645 mn for a year

The latest data from the Egyptian Central Bank reveals the issuance of 364-day treasury bills in euros, with a final application deadline tomorrow, Monday, November 6th.
The issuance date is set for Tuesday, November 7, 2023, and the maturity date is November 5, 2024. It's worth mentioning that CBE announced the issuance of treasury bills of various denominations totaling EGP94 bn ast Wednesday to finance the state budget deficit.
Additionally, on August 14th, CBE announced the issuance of 364-day treasury bills in euros worth €600 mn, with a maturity date of August 13, 2024.
