Agricultural Bank of Egypt continues the activities ‘Hand in Hand’ initiative in Port Said Governorate

The Agricultural Bank of Egypt is continuing its efforts to implement its national initiative “Hand in Hand” The bank is launching this initiative across all governorates to support the neediest families. This was witnessed in the conference held in Port Said, where Major General Adel Al-Ghadban, the Governor of Port Said, and Alaa Farouk, the Chairman of the Board of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, participated in a public conference organized by the bank.

 

The conference celebrated the launch of the initiative to support the most needy families in the governorate. This initiative is in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, emphasizing the necessity of combining efforts to improve the quality of citizens’ lives, achieve comprehensive and sustainable development, and provide support and care to vulnerable families.

 

During the conference, the bank distributed electrical appliances to facilitate the marriages of young people from the neediest families in the governorate. Additionally, they distributed food vouchers for the benefit of thousands of families under the care in the cities and neighborhoods of Port Said. This distribution was coordinated between the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, the executive bodies in the governorate, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and the parliamentary representatives in the governorate.

 

The conference was attended by Sami Abdel Sadek, Vice Chairman of the Board of the Agricultural Bank, and Adel Al-Lamie, a member of the Senate. Also present were leaders and heads of sectors in the bank, as well as members of the Senate and the House of Representatives. The executive and popular leaders of Port Said were also in attendance.

 

In his speech at the conference, Alaa Farouk, the Chairman of the Board of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, affirmed the bank’s commitment to continue its efforts, reaching all governorates in the country to achieve the goals of its national initiative “Hand in Hand.” This reflects the bank’s dedication to stand by the people of Egypt everywhere and extend a helping hand to alleviate the burden for the largest possible number of families, providing a decent life for them in the face of current economic challenges.

 

He added that Port Said is the third governorate where the initiative is launched, following Dakahlia and Gharbia within one week. The initiative aims to reach the remaining governorates gradually.

 

Farouk emphasized that the initiative “Hand in Hand” is a national initiative launched by the Egyptian Agricultural Bank in cooperation with the executive and popular bodies in the governorates. It stems from the bank’s national role to support and assist the state’s efforts in achieving rural development and realizing the goals of the presidential initiative “Decent Life,” launched by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. This initiative represents a significant achievement added to the unprecedented accomplishments achieved by the President despite the current challenges.

 

Farouk stressed that the Egyptian Agricultural Bank is eager to collaborate with all state entities and civil society institutions as long as the goal is to uphold the interests of the nation, achieve comprehensive and sustainable development, and provide all forms of support to ensure a decent life for the first-care families throughout the country.

 

In his response, Major General Adel Al-Ghadban, the Governor of Port Said, praised the national role played by the Egyptian Agricultural Bank from its social responsibility towards the neediest families under care. He highlighted the bank’s contributions, both in material and financial aid, to help them cope with the burdens and requirements of life. He also commended the bank’s role in providing necessary financing programs to help launch small and micro enterprises, improving the income levels of families.

 

Senator Adel El-Lamie expressed his happiness with the launch of the “Hand in Hand for the Future of the Nation” initiative in Port Said to support thousands of families. He credited the Egyptian Agricultural Bank for its significant development under its current management, which has had a significant impact on its presence among the Egyptian people and its commitment to supporting the state’s efforts to improve the living standards of its citizens.

 

The initiative launch in Port Said was met with enthusiasm, and it exemplifies the collaborative efforts between the Egyptian Agricultural Bank and various entities to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development across the nation.
