The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Wednesday 22 November with Increase in the market cap by 0.72% to record EGP 401.434 bn compared to EGP 398.566 bn at yesterday's session.

The market cap of the banking sector reached 24.48% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 643.371 mn which represents 14.45% of the total trading volume today after 10.193 million shares were exchanged capturing 0.63% of the total trading volume.

The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with Increase and turnover amounted EGP 10 mn on shares.

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” rose by 1.03% and 25.097 points, “EGX70” index for medium stocks rose by 2.03% to record 5.043 points, and the broader index “EGX100” Increased by 1.85% to record 7.380 points.
