Corporate loans at aiBANK grow by 12% recording EGP 24.1 bn by September- 2023 end

The financial statements of aiBANK, ending in September 2023, revealed a total increase in corporate loans by 12%, an increase of EGP 1.82 bn during the first 9M of the current year.

The total portfolio of corporate loans in the bank reached approximately EGP 17.328 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 15.51bn by the end of December 2022, accounting for 71.78% of the total customer loans.

Additionally, direct loan portfolio of the bank increased by 19%, reaching about EGP 13.97 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 11.75 bn by the end of December 2022, an increase of EGP 2.224 bn.

Furthermore, syndicated loan portfolio of the bank increased by 29% with an increase of EGP 553mn during the first 9 months of the current year, reaching approximately EGP 2.483 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 1.930 bn by the end of December 2022.

Total loans and facilities for customers increased by 16%, reaching EGP 24.140 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 20.857 bn by the end of December 2022, an increase of EGP 3.283 bn
