According To First Bank List Of The Fastest-Growing Banks In Credit Cards During The 9M Of The last Year, EBank Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 91.26%. The Bank's Credit Card Portfolio Reached EGP124.8 Mn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 65.3 Mn By The End Of December 2022.
First Bank List Tracked Credit Card Portfolios At 21 Banks In The Egyptian Banking Sector That Provided Data During The Analysis Period. All Of These Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Total Credit Cards From January To September 2023.
Returning to the List, Arab African International Bank Came In Second Place With A Growth Rate Of 88.78% During The First 9M Of The last Year. Its Credit Card Portfolio Reached EGP 822.9 Mn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP435.9 Mn By The End Of December 2022.
In Third Place Was AUB-Egypt, With A Credit Card Growth Rate Of 78.83% During The First 9M Of The last Year, Reaching EGP 75.1 Mn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 42 Mn By The End Of December 2022.
As For The Fourth Place, It Was Secured By ADCB - Egypt With A Credit Card Growth Rate Of 67.32% During The First 9M Of The last Year, Reaching EGP 222.3 Mn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 132.8 Mn By The End Of December 2022, Followed By NBK - Egypt With A Growth Rate Of 54.43% During The Same Period.
Sixth Place Went To ABK - Egypt With A Growth Rate Of 52.76% During The First 9M Of The last Year. It Recorded A Credit Card Portfolio Of Approximately EGP 490.9 Mn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 321.4 Mn By The End Of December 2022.
aiBANK Claimed The Seventh Position With A Growth Rate Of 52.05% During The First 9M Of The last Year. Its Credit Card Portfolio Reached Around EGP 58.3 Mn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 38.3 Mn By The End Of December 2022, Followed By Banque Du Caire With A Growth Rate Of 45.73% During The Same Period.
EGBANK Secured The Ninth Position With A Growth Rate Of 44.87%. Its Total Credit Cards Reached EGP 144.3 Mn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 99.6 Mn By The End Of December 2022.
Emirates NBD – Egypt Took The Tenth Position With A Growth Rate Of 43.06% During The First 9M Of The last Year. Its Credit Card Value Reached EGP 796.1 Mn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 556.5 Mn By The End Of December 2022.
