EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 54.006 points on Sunday

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Sunday 25 February 2024, the index reached 54.006 points, compared to 53.932 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against the Euro, Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen, and settled against UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, pound sterling, US dollar.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 33.58 to EGP 33.48 while the average buying Fell from EGP 33.46 to EGP 33.36 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 20.59 to EGP 20.55 while the average buying Fell from EGP 20.52 to EGP 20.48 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 4.30 to EGP 4.29 while the average buying settled at EGP 4.28.at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt settled at EGP 39.23 while the average buying rose from EGP 39.09 to EGP 39.10 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal declined from EGP8.25 to EGP 8.24 while the average buying settled at EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 while the average buying settled at EGP 30.84.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
