EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 38.827 points on Sunday

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during March 10 2024, the index reached 38.827 points, compared to 38.711 points at last Thursday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index rose against 5 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the Euro, US dollar, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Chinese Yuan, it fell against pound sterling, Japanese Yen.
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt Fell from EGP49.44 to EGP 49.20 while the average buying Fell from EGP 49.34 to EGP 49.10 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP53.89 to EGP 53.83 while the average buying Fell from EGP 53.77 to EGP 53.71 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt declined from EGP 6.86 to EGP 6.84 at the end of today's trading. while the average buying declined from EGP 6.85 to EGP 6.83.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal Fell from EGP13.18 to EGP 13.12 while the average buying Fell from EGP 13.15 to EGP 13.09 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt Fell from EGP13.46to EGP 13.39 while the average buying Fell from EGP 13.43 to EGP 13.3 at the end of today's trading
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP63.06to EGP 63.28 while the average buying rose from EGP 62.91 to EGP 63.13 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 33.44 EGP 33.45 while the average buying rose from EGP 33.37 to EGP 33.38 at the end of today's trading.
