EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 53.964 points on Tuesday

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during March 5 2024, the index reached 53.964 points, compared to 53.960 points at yesterday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index rose against one Currency among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the Euro, and settled against pound sterling, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Chinese Yuan, US dollar.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 33.57 to EGP 33.56 while the average buying Fell from EGP 33.46 to EGP 33.45 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 while the average buying settled at EGP 30.84.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt settled at EGP39.23 while the average buying Increased from EGP 39.09 to EGP 39.10 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt settled at EGP 20.56 while the average buying declined from EGP 20.50 to EGP 20.49 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.29 while the average buying settled at EGP 4.28.at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal settled at EGP 8.24 while the average buying settled at EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
