First Bank List Of Egyptian Banks With The Fastest Growth In Total Customer Loans During The last Year Revealed That First Abu Dhabi Bank Egypt Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 75.51%, With A Total Portfolio Of Around EGP86 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP49Bn At The End Of December 2022.
The List, Which Included 21 Banks Operating In The Egyptian Banking Sector With Available Financial Data During The Analysis Period, Showed That All Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Total Loan Portfolios From January To December 2023.
NBK Egypt Came In Second Place With A Growth Rate Of 38.41% During The last Year, With A Total Customer Loans Of EGP76.1bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 55 Bn At The End Of December 2022.
Third Place Was Taken By Attijariwafa Bank With A Growth Rate Of 36.79% During The last Year, With A Total Loan Portfolio Of EGP 44 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 32.2 Bn At The End Of December 2022.
As For The Fourth Place, It Was Secured By Al Ahli Bank Of Kuwait – Egypt "ABK-Egypt" With A Growth Rate Of 35.56% During The last Year, With A Total Customer Loans Of EGP47bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 34.65 Bn At The End Of December 2022 Followed By Banque du caire With A Growth Rate Of 29.57% During The Same Period.
Emirates NBD-Egypt Ranked Sixth With A Growth Rate Of 29.44% During The last Year, As Its Total Customer Loan Portfolio Jumped From EGP 46.4 Bn At The End Of December 2022 To EGP 60.1 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
Ahli United Bank- Egypt Ranked Seventh With A Growth Rate Of 25.53% With A Total Customer Loans Of EGP67.2bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 53.2 Bn At The End Of December 2022.
alBaraka Bank Ranked Eighth With A Growth Rate Of 23.45% During The last Year, As Its Total Customer Loan Portfolio increased From EGP 35.4 Bn At The End Of December 2022 To EGP 43.6 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
As For The Ninth Place, It Was Taken By Agricultural Bank Of Egypt After Its Total Customer Loan Portfolio Increased By 23.22% During The last Year, Reaching EGP78.8bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP64bn At The End Of December 2022, Followed By credit Agricole, and EBank With A Growth Rates Of 22.01%, 21.87% During The Same Period.
