The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Tuesday 25 June 2024 with increase in the market cap by 0.39% to record EGP 418.347 bn compared to EGP 416.737bn at Yesterday's session.

The market cap of the banking sector reached 23.64% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 430.784 mn which represents 12.39% of the total trading volume today after 7.555million shares were exchanged capturing 1.13% of the total trading volume.

The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with increase and turnover amounted EGP 267.7 mn on shares.

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” rose by 1.34%, to record 27269.92 points EGX70 increased by 0.56% to record 6145.20 points, and the broader index “EGX100” rose by 0.93% to record 8891.15points.
