The market cap of the banking sector reached 24.29% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 522.272mn which represents 12.60% of the total trading volume today after 8.999 million shares were exchanged capturing 0.47% of the total trading volume.

The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with decrease and turnover amounted EGP 151.7mn on shares.

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” fell by 2.33%, to record 28.503 points EGX70 decreased by 5% to record 6.492 points, and the broader index “EGX100” declined by 4.31% to record 9.299points.
