KFH-Egypt, NBK-Egypt, and Emirates NBD Lead Private Sector Banks in Client Financing Focus as of June 2025
KFH-Egypt tops the list of banks most focused on client financing with a concentration ratio of 55.56%, followed by NBK-Egypt with 54.95%.
Emirates NBD ranks third with a 47.48% concentration ratio, while QNB-Egypt and Attijariwafa Bank Egypt take the fourth and fifth positions with 46.05% and 45.96%, respectively.
ABK-Egypt, saib, and BANKNXT are also among the top 10 banks most focused on client financing, recording concentration ratios of 45.85%, 43.92%, and 43.41%, respectively.
The First Bank ranking of banks with the highest concentration in client financing investments as of June 2025 revealed that Kuwait Finance House-Egypt «KFH-Egypt» led the list, with net client financing accounting for 55.56% of its total assets, valued at EGP 153.13 billion, while net client financing amounted to EGP 85.08 billion by the end of June 2025.
The ranking highlights the investment focus of 25 private sector banks operating in the Egyptian banking market, specifically in net client loans. It is based on the ratio of (Net Client Loans / Total Assets), which provides an indicator of how concentrated each bank’s assets are in client financing.
Returning to the list, National Bank of Kuwait-Egypt «NBK-Egypt» claimed second place, with net client loans representing 54.95% of its total asset portfolio. The bank’s net client loans stood at EGP 113.14 billion, while total assets reached EGP 205.91 billion as of June 2025.
Emirates NBD-Egypt ranked third, with 47.48% of its total assets concentrated in net client loans worth EGP 91.27 billion, while its total assets amounted to EGP 192.25 billion as of June 2025.
In fourth place, Qatar National Bank-Egypt «QNB-Egypt» reported that net client loans represented 46.05% of its total assets, with a loan portfolio of EGP 382.84 billion out of total assets of EGP 831.38 billion as of June 2025.
Attijariwafa Bank Egypt came fifth, with net client loans accounting for 45.96% of its total assets. The bank’s net client loan portfolio stood at EGP 59.26 billion, while total assets reached EGP 128.95 billion by the end of June 2025.
Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait-Egypt «ABK-Egypt» ranked sixth, with 45.85% of its total assets (EGP 163.43 billion) allocated to net client loans worth EGP 74.92 billion by the end of June 2025.
saib Bank followed in seventh place, where net client loans accounted for 43.92% of its total assets, which reached EGP 169.05 billion, while net client loans stood at EGP 74.25 billion by the end of June 2025.
BANKNXT secured the eighth position, with net client loans of EGP 38.33 billion representing 43.41% of its total assets, which amounted to EGP 88.30 billion as of June 2025.
In ninth place, Crédit Agricole Egypt recorded 42.14% of its total assets concentrated in net client loans, with a loan portfolio of EGP 56.83 billion out of total assets of EGP 134.85 billion as of June 2025.
Finally, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank-Egypt «ADCB» rounded out the top ten, with 41.36% of its total assets (EGP 157.04 billion) allocated to net client loans, which reached EGP 64.95 billion by the end of June 2025.
