EGP index declines to 54.258 points at the end of Thursday’s trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 7 currencies during Thursday 2, February 2023. The index reached 54.258 points, compared to 54.780 points at Wednesday trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 7 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound

It fell against the, Saudi Riyal , Japanese Yen, Pound Sterling, The UAE Dirham, Chinese Yuan, Euro ,US Dollar.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt increased from EGP 30.23 to EGP30.31 while the buying price increase from EGP 30.13 to EGP 30.21

The average Euro selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 32.93 to EGP 33.32 at the end of Thursday trading, while the average buying rate increase from EGP 32.82 to EGP 33.21

The average Pound Sterling selling rate in Egypt increases from EGP 37.26 to EGP 37.33at the end of Thursday trading, while the average buying rate increase from EGP 37.12 to EGP 37.21

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 23.30 to EGP23.62 while the buying price increased from EGP 23.22 to EGP 23.54

The average rate of the Chinese yuan increased in Egypt from EGP 4.48 to EGP 4.50for selling while the buying price increased from EGP 4.46 to EGP 4.49 at the end of Thursday

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt increased from EGP 8.05to EGP8.07 while the buying price increased from EGP 8.03 to EGP 8.05

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt increased from EGP 8.23 to EGP8.25 while the buying price increased from EGP 8.20 to EGP 8.22 at the end of Thursday
