CBE issues 4 types of T-bills with total value of EGP 78.5 bn
Today, the Central Bank of Egypt announced the issuance of T-bills of various categories, with a total value of 78.5 billion pounds, to finance the state budget deficit.
The bank revealed the issuance of T-bills in the category of 182 days and 364 days, with a deadline for submission on Thursday, February 16, 2023, The issuance on the 21st of this month, next Tuesday.
The value of issuing T-bills in the category of “182 days” reached 20.5 billion pounds, and the value of the second issuance of t- bills in the category of “364 days” reached 23 billion pounds.
On its official website, «CBE» indicated another issuance of T-bills in the “91-day” and “273-day” categories, provided that the deadline for submission is February 19, 2023, next Sunday.
The value of issuing T-bills in the category of “91 days” reached 13.5 billion pounds, while the value of issuing T-bills in the category of “273 days” reached 21,5 billion pounds.
