EGP ends week with gains after rebounding in front of 3 major currencies

The Egyptian pound index climbed 0.1181 points against the major currencies over the week where it rose to 54.919, compared to 54.801 points a week earlier.

The Egyptian pound index increased against 3 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound It climbed against, the Japanese Yen and the Euro, Chinese Yuan while it fell against US dollar, Pound Sterling Saudi Riyal and UAE Dirham

The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP30.60 to EGP 30.66 in the week's trading, while the average Buying price rose from EGP 30.50 to EGP 30.56

The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt fell from EGP 32.77 to EGP 32.55 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate fell from EGP 33.65 to EGP 33.41.

The average rate of the Saudi riyal in Egypt rose from EGP 8.16 to EGP8.17 at the end of  last Thursday trading , while the buying price rose from EGP 8.13 to EGP 8.14

The average selling rate of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP8.33 to EGP 8.34 at the end of the day's trading, while buying price increased from EGP 8.30 to EGP8.32

The average rate of the Chinese Yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 4.46 to EGP 4.44, while the buying rate fell from EGP 4.45 to EGP 4.43

The average rate of the Pound Sterling in Egypt Rose from EGP 36.89 to EGP 36.90 in today's dealings, while the average buying price fell from EGP 36.76 to EGP 36.77

The average rate of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 22.87 pounds to EGP 22.71, while the buying rate decreased from EGP 22.79 to EGP 22.64
