Individuals have the biggest share in ADCB's net profits with 43.85%, during 2022

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank-Egypt was able to achieve strong performance during 2022, a big jump in profits, as its  pre-taxes profits  jumped by 56.82%, reaching EGP 1.67 bn in 2022, compared to EGP1.06 bn in 2021, an increase of EGP603.58 mn.

Net profits increased from EGP 710.25 mn in 2021, to EGP1.06 bn in 2022, achieving a growth rate of 49.98%, and an increase of EGP354.97 mn.

The bank’s net profits from individuals, reached EGP467.13 mn during 2022, about 43.85% of its total net profits.

As for its net profits from corporates recorded EGP 345.41 mn, representing 32.43% of its total net profits during the past year.

While the net profits from treasury, financial corporates  and other sectors by 23.72% of its total net profits, after it recorded EGP252.67 mn during 2022.

Moreover, asset portfolio reached EGP86.17 bn by the end of 2022, compared to EGP48.36 bn by the end of 2021, achieving a growth rate of 78.20%, and an increase  Of EGP 37.81 bn.

Financing to clients jumped by 40.88%, to reach EGP31.40 bn by the end of 2022, compared to EGP 22.29 bn by the end of 2021, an increase of EGP9.11 bn.

Depositors' confidence  increased significantly, which was reflected in the growth of the bank’s deposit portfolio by 83.64%, to record EGP75.49 bn at the end of 2022, compared to EGP41.11 bn at the end of 2021, an increase of EGP 34.38 bn.

The bank achieved a combined growth of 63.17% on a composite index developed by First Bank to measure the financial performance of banks with a single figure,  during the year 2022.
