Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Tuesday's closing session

The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Tuesday 14 November with decrease in the market cap by 0.50% to record EGP 381.174 bn compared to EGP 383.174 bn at yesterday's session.
The market cap of the banking sector reached 24.55% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 604.293 mn which represents 14.62% of the total trading volume today after 10.574 million shares were exchanged capturing 0.83% of the total trading volume.
The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with decrease EGX only and turnover amounted EGP 60.2 mn on shares.
The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” fell by 0.25% and 24.216 points, “EGX70” index for medium stocks rose by 0.01% to record 4.841 points, and the broader index “EGX100” Increased by 0.01% to record 7.098 points.
