The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Monday 20 November with decrease in the market cap by 0.07% to record EGP 401.028 bn compared to EGP 401.306 bn at yesterday's session.

The market cap of the banking sector reached 25% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 925.630 mn which represents 22.62% of the total trading volume today after 14.442 million shares were exchanged capturing 1.38% of the total trading volume.

The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with decrease and turnover amounted EGP 10 mn on shares.

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” fell by 0.56% and 25.337 points, “EGX70” index for medium stocks declined by 1.07% to record 4.938 points, and the broader index “EGX100” decreased by 1.11% to record 7.285 points.
