Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Tuesday's closing session

The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Tuesday 21 November with decrease in the market cap by 0.061% to record EGP 398.566 bn compared to EGP 401.028 bn at yesterday's session.
The market cap of the banking sector reached 24.75% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 876.696 mn which represents 21.37% of the total trading volume today after 13.892 million shares were exchanged capturing 0.85% of the total trading volume.
The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with Increase and turnover amounted EGP 7.3 mn on shares.
The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” rose by 0.06% and 24.774 points, “EGX70” index for medium stocks rose by 1.58% to record 4.939 points, and the broader index “EGX100” Increased by 1.24% to record 7.244 points.
