Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Sunday's closing session

The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Sunday 3 December with decrease in the market cap by 1.38% to record EGP 403.526 bn compared to EGP 409.162 bn at last Thursday's session.
The market cap of the banking sector reached 24.97% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 109.912 mn which represents 3.14% of the total trading volume today after 2.218 million shares were exchanged capturing 0.16% of the total trading volume.
The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with decrease EGX30 only and turnover amounted EGP 3.6 mn on shares.
The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” Fell by 0.66.% and 24.809 points, “EGX70” index for medium stocks rose by 0.76% to record 5.336 points, and the broader index “EGX100” Increased by 0.53% to record 7.721 points.
