The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Thursday 27 June 2024 with increase in the market cap by 0.47% to record EGP 428.580 bn compared to EGP 426.587bn at Yesterday's session.

The market cap of the banking sector reached 23.72% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 579.985 mn which represents 13.19% of the total trading volume today after 10.439million shares were exchanged capturing 1.07% of the total trading volume.

The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with increase and turnover amounted EGP 267.7 mn on shares.

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” rose by 0.97%, to record 27938.98 points EGX70 increased by 0.31% to record 6224.41 points, and the broader index “EGX100” rose by 0.30% to record 9035.35points.
