The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Sunday 28 July 2024 with increase in the market cap by 0.24% to record EGP 446.616 bn compared to EGP 445.534 bn at last Wednesday's session.

The market cap of the banking sector reached 23.38% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 151.357mn which represents 5.95% of the total trading volume today after 2.780 million shares were exchanged capturing 0.24% of the total trading volume.

The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with increase and turnover amounted EGP 151.7mn on shares.

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” fell by 0.19%, to record 29148.17 points EGX70 increased by 0.29% to record 6746.38 points, and the broader index “EGX100” fell by 0.12% to record 9.652 points.
