USD Dollar rate exceeds EGP 26.60 at the closing of Wednesday’s transactions
The USD dollar rate rose suddenly at Wednesday’s transactions in major Egyptian banks after remaining stable for long.
The rate of the USD dollar rose against the Egyptian pound to a record high reaching EGP 26.3894 for buying and EGP26.4778 for selling, according to the latest data issued by the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest USD dollar rate for buying was witnessed in the E-Bank and the Arab Investment Bank at 26.51 pounds, while the selling price recorded EGP 26.55.
The lowest rate of USD dollar was seen in Blom Bank Egypt at EGP 24.69 for buying and EGP 24.79 for selling.
The rate of USD dollar also rose at the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr to record EGP 26.25 for buying and EGP 26.30 for selling.
The rate of USD dollar also increased at Al-Ahli Bank of Kuwait-Egypt to record EGP26.50 for selling and EGP 26.55 for buying and it rose in the Suez Canal Bank to EGP 26.40 pounds for buying and EGP 26.50 for selling at major Egyptian banks today
