alBaraka Bank, EBank, QNB Al Ahli, SCBank And HD Bank, Are Fastest Growing Listed Banks In Financial Investments At 2022
FirstBank list of fastest growing listed banks in total financial investments and T-bills during the past year revealed that alBaraka Bank – Egypt topped the list with a growth rate of 54.70%, total portfolio jumped to EGP 31.7 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 20.5 bn at the end of December. 2021.
Export Development Bank of Egypt took second place with a growth rate of 45.83% over the past year, after the bank’s total financial investment portfolio recorded about EGP 27 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 18.5 bn at the end of December 2021.
QNB Al Ahli came in third place, after the bank’s total financial investment portfolio and T-bills increased by a growth rate of 34.65% over the past year, to record EGP 174.9 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 129.9 bn at the end of December 2021.
As for the fourth place, Suez Canal Bank came with a growth rate of 28.78% over the past year, after its total financial investment portfolio and T-bills jumped to EGP24.6 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 19.1 bn at the end of December 2021.
Housing and Development Bank ranked fifth, with a growth rate of 17.44% over the past year, after its total financial investment portfolio and T-bills recorded EGP 28.6 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 24.4 bn at the end of December 2021.
