EBank, saib, Suez Canal Bank and HDBank, Are fastest growing listed banks during 2022

First Bank list of the fastest growing banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange during the past year revealed that Export Development Bank of Egypt topped the list with a composite growth rate of 52.12%, its net profits jumped by 145.10% in 2022. Total assets grew by 26.93%, while loan and deposit portfolio increased by 23.29% and 13.16%, respectively, during the same period.

saib occupied second place, with a composite growth rate of 49.14%, net profits achieved a jump of 137.15% during 2022, and total loans achieved a growth rate of 22.21%, while assets and deposits portfolio increased by 20.63% and 16.58%, respectively, during the same period.

Suez Canal Bank came in third place with  39.31% during 2022, after it was able to achieve outstanding performance in all its indicators; net profits of 72% during that period, in addition to deposit, asset and loan portfolios at rates of 30.08%, 30.01% and 25.13%, respectively.

Housing and Development Bank came  fourth, with 35.78% during 2022,  deposit portfolio increased by 42.28%, the strong growth in loans and assets portfolios at rates of 41.68% and 35.86%, respectively. In addition to a net profit growth of 23.31%.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt came in fifth place after achieving 34.29%, the bank’s net profits by 54.05%, in addition to asset, deposit and loan portfolio by 29.14% and 28.94%. and 25.04%, respectively, during the same period.

It should be noted that all values ​​and growth rates mentioned above are according to separate financial statements announced for each bank by the end of 2022.
