Hassan Ghanem elected as CEO of HD Bank in a new election cycle

Housing and Development Bank announced election of Hassan Ghanem for a new election cycle as CEO of the bank, where the AGM of the bank was held on Thursday, March 30, 2023, and Hassan Ghanem was re-elected from March 2023 to March 2026.

Hassan Ghanem assumed the chairmanship of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of HD Bank in December 2019, to lead the bank within a short period towards achieving a remarkable boom and exceptional growth at all levels of business.

This came through implementing an ambitious strategy, which seeks to become one of the largest comprehensive commercial banks in the banking market, and to adopt a distinctive and unique business model that aims to enhance the bank's activities and services to achieve its vision and objectives in line with the requirements of the banking market and the principles of competition.

This led to strong financial indicators, as the bank recorded a net profit after tax of EGP2.257 bn at the end of 2022, compared to EGP1.830 bn at the end of 2021, with a growth rate of 23.3%.
