The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Monday 10 April with Increase in the market cap by 2.38% or EGP260.810 billion compared to EGP254.737billion at the end yesterday's session.

The market cap of the banking sector reached 25.69% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 188.530 million which represents 11.99% of the total trading volume today after 5.221 million shares were exchanged capturing 1.10% of the total trading volume.

The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with increased and turnover amounted EGP 117 million on shares.

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” rose by 0.60% at 16.838 points, “EGX70” index for medium stocks rose by 0.45% to record 2.950 points, and the broader index “EGX100” increased by 0.63% to record 4.439 points.
