The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Monday 26 June with Increase in the market cap by 4.70% or EGP 280.703 billion compared to EGP 268.111 billion at yesterday's session.

The market cap of the banking sector reached 25.41% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 273.091 million which represents 17.87% of the total trading volume today after 6.855 million shares were exchanged capturing 0.99% of the total trading volume.

The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with increase and turnover amounted EGP 39.3 million on shares.

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” rose by 2.18% at 17.665 points, “EGX70” index for medium stocks rose by 1.21% to record 3.535 points, and the broader index “EGX100” increased by 1.31% to record 5.242 points.
