The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Monday 10 July with increase in the market cap by 0.82% or EGP 267.088 billion compared to EGP 264.903 billion at yesterday's session.

The market cap of the banking sector reached 24.46% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 369.044 million which represents 26.39% of the total trading volume today after 9.991 million shares were exchanged capturing 2% of the total trading volume.

The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with increase and turnover amounted EGP 133 million on shares.

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” rose by 2.46% at 16.970 points, “EGX70” index for medium stocks rose by 4.33% to record 3.374 points, and the broader index “EGX100” increased by 3.96% to record 5.009 points.
