Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Tuesday's closing session

The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Tuesday 28 November with decrease in the market cap by 3.74% to record EGP 418.068 bn compared to EGP 433.693 bn at yesterday's session.
The market cap of the banking sector reached 25.73% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 1.052 bn which represents 20.02% of the total trading volume today after 16.105 million shares were exchanged capturing 1.02% of the total trading volume.
The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with decrease EGX30 and turnover amounted EGP 27 mn on shares.
The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” Fell by 3.03.% and 25.928 points, “EGX70” index for medium stocks rose by 0.87% to record 5.183 points, and the broader index “EGX100” Increased by 0.05% to record 7.600 points.
