Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Tuesday's closing session

The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Tuesday 5 December with decrease in the market cap by 0.04% to record EGP 407.097 bn compared to EGP 408.706 bn at Yesterday's session.
The market cap of the banking sector reached 24.89% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 800.614 mn which represents 15.37% of the total trading volume today after 11.997 million shares were exchanged capturing 0.76% of the total trading volume.
The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with decrease EGX and turnover amounted EGP 10 mn on shares.
The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” Fell by 0.54.% and 25.443 points, “EGX70” index for medium stocks rose by 0.75% to record 5.450 points, and the broader index “EGX100” Increased by 0.33% to record 7.917 points.
