The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Thursday 13 June 2024 with increase in the market cap by 0.20% to record EGP 412.130 bn compared to EGP 411.326bn at yesterday's session.

The market cap of the banking sector reached 24.13% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 439.366 mn which represents 15.32% of the total trading volume today after 7.678million shares were exchanged capturing 1.00% of the total trading volume.

The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with increase and turnover amounted EGP 267.7 mn on shares.

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” rose by 1.09%, to record 26556.76 points EGX70 increased by 1.04% to record 5929.76 points, and the broader index “EGX100” rose by 1.19% to record 8556.22points.
