The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Tuesday 30 July 2024 with increase in the market cap by 0.64% to record EGP 448.558 bn compared to EGP 445.711 bn at yesterday's session.

The market cap of the banking sector reached 2.38% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 636.881mn which represents 13.59% of the total trading volume today after 14.320 million shares were exchanged capturing 1.53% of the total trading volume.

The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with increase and turnover amounted EGP 151.7mn on shares.

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” rose by 0.65%, to record 29039.42 points EGX70 increased by 1.47% to record 6.820 points, and the broader index “EGX100” rose by 1.35% to record 9720.71 points.
