EGP index declines to 54.454 points at the end of Monday’s trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against currencies during Monday 20, February 2023. The index reached 54.454 points, compared to 54.471 points at Sunday trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 4 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound It fell against the, Japanese Yen, Saudi Riyal, Chinese Yuan, US dollar It rose against Pound Sterling, Euro and settled against The UAE Dirham

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 22.81 to EGP22.83 while the buying price increased from EGP 22.73 to EGP 22.76

The average rate of the Chinese yuan increased in Egypt from EGP 4.45 to EGP 4.46 for selling while the buying price settled at EGP 4.44 at the end of Monday

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt Rose from EGP 8.15 to EGP 8.16 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.13

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt increased from EGP 30.60 to EGP30.61 while the buying price increased from EGP 30.50 to EGP 30.51

The average Pound Sterling selling rate in Egypt fell from EGP 36.84 to EGP 36.82 at the end of Monday, while the average buying rate fell from EGP 36.71 to EGP 36.70

The average Euro selling rate in Egypt fell from EGP 32.73 to EGP 32.69 at the end of  Monday, while the average buying rate fell from EGP 32.62 to EGP 32.58
